About Event

FemFest is a mega cultural event organized by Sathyabama University to encourage young ladies explore their hidden talents. Sathyabama University was established by Jeppiaar Educational Trust in 1987. It is a pioneer institute in imparting knowledge in the areas of science, technology and education. FemFest15 for the seventh consecutive year is on 12th, 14st and 22nd February 2015.This program is organized by the girls to mark the exuberance of womanhood in the modern era. Women Inspiring Leadership, the theme for FEMFEST 2015, recognizes Indian Women's outstanding contributions to social, economical and political arenas through education. Education is one of the most important means of empowering women with the knowledge, skills and self-confidence necessary to participate fully in the development process. Education is a tool to bring women face to face with their self worth, giving them the sense to choose between right and wrong, empowering them with the skills to take advantage of the opportunities and embedding confidence in them to meet the challenges of life. Sathyabama University is proud to honor women whose pioneering work include scientific breakthroughs, life-saving discoveries, invention of new technologies, creation of organizations, and the promotion of women at the FEMFEST 2015 ,the annual event conducted exclusively by the young girls to mark the exuberance of womanhood . FEMFEST glorifies the laurels of the Inspiring Icons who are the real motivators of the energetic minds of India.
